2009 Audi TTS

The 2009 Audi TTS is a clear exhibition of the Audi motto : “Advancement through technology”. The uniqueness of the TTS is its compact engine block? and cylinder heads. The connecting rods are also exclusive to the Audi TTS.——– The power output of the engine is 272 hp.? It generates a torque of 258 lb-ft. The TTS can achieve a top speed of 155 mph, and acceleration? of 0-62 mph in 5.2 s. The company claims an average? mileage of 29.7 mpg, owing to the electromechanical steering.? The engine features turbocharger which can produce? 1.2 bar of air pressure. The inter cooler helps lower the? temperature of the charge, thus increasing the air flow into the engine.

The interior has the luxury of Silk Nappa leather and “alcantara”.? The instrument panel is grey in colour. The steering wheel has many-purpose? feature that ensures minimum driver focus on the console. The rear seats? are split-folding to ensure maximum flexibility. This also increases? the storage area to 24.72 cu ft.

With an aim to reduce the curb weight, the rear portion of the car? is completely in steel. The front and center sections are in? lightweight aluminium. The headlamps are Bi-Xenon lamps with daytime- running feature. The suspension also comprises aluminium entities, which helps reduce? the net weight. The Audi space frame technology further reduces the weight. The dampers use the adaptive magnetic technology.

The base car is available at $66,000 and the roadster at $70,000.
